A stuntman working on the set of the upcoming TV series “Shooter” has suffered serious injuries after being run over by a car while filming. According to an article published in the Los Angeles Times, the accident occurred just after noon on Wednesday, July 7th, 2016, at Agua Dulce Airpark in Santa Clarita when film crews were shooting a gun battle, fight scene, and shots of vehicles driving around the airport.
It is believed that “Saving Private Ryan” actor Tom Sizemore was driving the vehicle involved in the accident, with TMZ reporting that the actor “never saw the stuntman.” Sizemore’s representative has since declined to comment on the matter.
The unidentified stuntman was airlifted to a local hospital in an unknown condition. The show, based on the 2007 Mark Wahlberg film of the same name, is set to air on USA on July 19th.
