Since joining Plotkin, Vincent & Jaffe, LLC in 2011, Mark E. Jaffe has devoted his practice to representing seriously injured plaintiffs in complicated cases. He and his partners represented the mother of a child who died of an infection contracted at a Louisiana hospital due to a fungal outbreak in the facility.
The firm also has represented a professional stunt performer who was severely injured as a result of an equipment malfunction on a movie set. The firm currently represents a young woman who became a quadruple amputee, in part, due to the administrative negligence of another Louisiana hospital.
Mr. Jaffe also represents clients with occupational lung disease, particularly claims arising from coal worker’s pneumoconiosis, silica, and asbestos. Much of that litigation involves product liability claims relating to NIOSH-approved dust respirators.

Personal Life
Mr. Jaffe is married, and he enjoys playing softball, watching his sons play soccer, and attending New Orleans Pelicans games with his family.
